Project Overview

The goal of this project is to transform the lives of community members in the project villages by fostering sustainable practices, enhancing economic opportunities, and ensuring holistic well-being. Through targeted interventions in agriculture, education, health, and renewable energy, the project aspires to create a resilient community where individuals thrive economically, children receive quality education, health is prioritized, and the environment is safeguarded. The overarching aim is to empower these rural communities to chart their path towards sustainable prosperity, ensuring a brighter and more secure future for generations to come.

Project Objective

1. Enhance access to quality healthcare services and facilities in Jalipur and Hastinapur Blocks, addressing gaps in infrastructure, resources, and medical personnel.

2. Improve educational infrastructure and opportunities for students in rural communities, focusing on upgrading schools and Anganwadi centers, and providing necessary resources for effective learning.

3. Ensure access to safe drinking water and promote water conservation measures to safeguard community health and well-being.

4. Promote sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural residents through diversification and skill development, empowering them to build resilient and prosperous futures.

5. Implement measures to improve the quality and availability of veterinary services for livestock farmers, ensuring the health and well-being of their animals.

6. Promote women 39 empowerment and gender equality through targeted interventions in education, healthcare, and economic development, fostering inclusive growth.

Project Impact

Key Achievements

  • Formed 20 VKCs/SHGs/FIGs across 20 villages, enabling community-led governance and sustainable development planning.
  • Supported 2,000 farmers with seasonal cash crops, enhancing agricultural productivity and household income.
  • Benefited 460 households through Poshan Bank/Nutri Vatika initiatives, reducing malnutrition and improving dietary diversity.
  • Established 162 orchards with 10,000 saplings, strengthening long-term income opportunities for 150 farmers.
  • Provided poultry and goatery support to 230 households, ensuring diversified and sustainable income sources.
  • Trained 15 women in tailoring, establishing 15 sewing centres, promoting self-employment and women empowerment.
  • Renovated 10 Government Schools and 13 ICDS Centres, improving learning conditions for 2,250 students.
  • Installed 9 Solar-Powered Drinking Water Structures, providing safe water access to 450 households
  • Installed 140 Solar Street Lights, improving safety and mobility for 1,500 community members.
  • Established 55 Biogas Units, supporting clean energy adoption and promoting sustainable environmental practices.
