Livelihood & Women Empowerment

SUVIDHA empowers women and rural communities by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities, strengthening entrepreneurship, and promoting financial inclusion. Through skill development, enterprise promotion, and community institutions, the organization enhances household incomes, self-reliance, and socio-economic resilience.

SUVIDHA believes that sustainable livelihoods and women’s economic empowerment are fundamental to inclusive rural development. The organization works closely with women, youth, farmers, and marginalized communities to enhance income opportunities through skill development, entrepreneurship promotion, and enterprise creation. By strengthening Self-Help Groups (SHGs), supporting women-led businesses, and facilitating access to finance, markets, and capacity-building programmes, SUVIDHA enables communities to become economically self-reliant.

The organization promotes diversified livelihood opportunities through livestock development, sustainable agriculture, food processing, tailoring, handloom, mushroom cultivation, bakery units, and other micro-enterprises tailored to local resources and market demand. Alongside livelihood promotion, SUVIDHA emphasizes financial literacy, leadership development, gender equality, and social inclusion to ensure long-term economic resilience. Through a community-driven approach, the organization empowers women to become decision-makers, entrepreneurs, and leaders while creating sustainable income sources that improve household well-being and strengthen rural economies.
